Judgment for the decisions that matter most.
CLM Advisory is an executive advisory firm. Leaders bring us the decisions that sit at the intersection of strategy, people, culture, reputation, and growth—where the right answer is not obvious and the consequences are real.
Founded by Channing Martin, the practice offers what leaders cannot generate from inside their own organization: perspective, pattern recognition, and experienced counsel.
For Organizations
Every organization faces moments that require thoughtful leadership, trusted judgment, and a fresh perspective. CLM Advisory partners with leaders to navigate complexity, align people around a vision, and uncover opportunities that move organizations forward.
For Individuals
The Design Lab
Executive advisory for people entering increasingly consequential rooms.
Careers are rarely decided by talent alone. They are shaped by judgment, relationships, access, and the ability to see systems most people never learn to read.
For first-time executives, founders, senior leaders, academics, and nonprofit leaders whose influence is expanding faster than the playbook around them.

Founder & Executive Advisor

Channing Martin
Channing Martin has spent 15 years inside the rooms where decisions shape companies, careers, cultures, and public trust.
For nearly a decade she reported directly to CEOs of publicly traded multinational companies and worked closely with boards, committees, and senior leadership teams on challenges spanning executive leadership, culture, reputation, governance, and risk—work that rarely belongs neatly to one function.
She has led teams across the U.S. Federal Government, served as an economic officer in Malawi, built strategies for global companies, and partnered with institutions shaping culture around the world. Her executive, public-sector, academic, board, advisory, and speaking experience spans Interpublic Group (IPG), the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, the U.S. Department of State, CSG, Georgetown University, StockX, Harlem Stage, Advertising Week, The 4As, and The Female Quotient.
Channing does not advise from theory or from the sidelines. She brings the judgment earned alongside CEOs, boards, and executives when the consequences were real.
